The tear of the skin, (pistacia lentiscus) that tears only from the trees that thrive in southern Chios and nowhere else in the world, is collected patiently and with great effort by the Chian growers. From this tear, the mastic liqueur of the Kardassi family is produced, a liqueur that pleasantly highlights the unique aroma of mastic and in combination with its sweet crystalline taste, is an excellent aperitif. Enjoy it, always frozen, plain or with a slice of lime, before or after the meal, or create unique cocktails.
