THE MYTH OF THE Mermaid
The myth of the Mermaid of Thessaloniki is one of the most famous and beloved myths of the city as well as its emblem. The half-sister of Alexander the Great, Thessaloniki, was transformed into a Mermaid when she accidentally threw away the "immortal water" that her brother had acquired with effort and danger to ensure immortality. Since then he returns to the sea asking the sailors about his fate.
Our Nymph was designed by an award-winning office in Thessaloniki, flirting with local symbolism.
Her hair flutters in the water giving shape to the label, which in turn, with a recess at the top, resembles a fish tail.
It was named by the inhabitants of the city and continues to write, in turn, its own history, continuing to create together with its people.
